PRODUCT FAMILY
Temperature controls reactions, protects equipment and proves compliance. Accuracy starts with the sensor and ends with the transmitter.
RTD and thermocouple assemblies, head-mount transmitters and hygienic sensors for temperature from cryogenic to above 1,000 °C.

HOW TO CHOOSE
Use an RTD (TM-110) when accuracy and stability matter up to 600 °C. Use a thermocouple (TM-210) for higher temperatures and fast response. Add a head-mount transmitter (TM-310) to digitise either, and choose the hygienic TM-410 for sterile processes.
MEASURING PRINCIPLE
The resistance of a platinum element rises predictably with temperature, typically 100 Ω at 0 °C for Pt100.

MEASURING PRINCIPLE
Two dissimilar metals joined at a junction generate a voltage related to the temperature difference to the cold junction.
