What it does and why it is built this way
The CV-110 is a single-seat globe control valve for liquids, gases and steam. A characterised plug gives predictable flow change for every percent of stem travel.
Bolted bonnets and an extended range of trims let one body style serve duties from low-noise to high-pressure drop.
